Which structure is responsible for moving chromosomes during MEIOSIS?
The simplest answer is the microtubules that attach to the centromeres of the chromosomes. In the first division the chromatids are not separated allowing the separation of the homologous pairs of chromosomes. The second division the chromatids are separated forming four haploid daughter cells.
