Any Recommendations For A Good, Efficient, Leaf Blower/Vac Unit?

I am interested in buying a new leaf blower/vac unit, and have read sooo many reviews my head is spinning. Can anyone recommend one that does a fairly decent job for a substantial sized area with tons of leaves? I would like one that the vacuum/mulching feature is relatively good, as I have quite a few flower beds that are surrounded by large trees. Any first hand knowledge much appreciated...........Thanks
