What can I do to cool my room?

I'm in an addition to a house currently. So I am in an upstairs, windowless, well-insulated box. I can't use an air conditioner die to the fact that I have no windows and fans only succeed in blowing the warm air around. Is there any alternatives I can use? Preferably cheap.
