Were the Neanderthals just another human?

Uhh....Homo Sapiens (modern humans) and Neanderthals had a common ancestor. They were very closely related, probably branching out from Homo Erectus, but no, Neanderthals were not modern human, as their DNA was different. And there is no such thing as "black DNA."
