Can you do deep conditioners & hair masks at home or is it better to have it done at the salon?

I'm going bleach blonde next week & was told to use a deep conditioning treatment/ hair mask at least once a month. Are there products I can buy to do this at home, or must I go to the salon to do so? Also, how much am does it look like I'll be spending? Thank youu . <3
